Accounting software · Cyprus
Accounting software built in Cyprus, for the pile a Cyprus business actually produces.
Pileform is the layer between the paperwork and the ledger. It reads what arrives, decides the Cyprus VAT on every line, runs the payroll, keeps the compliance calendar, and posts confirmed entries into the accounting system you already keep. It does not ask you to move your books.
The choice is not local ledger or global ledger.
A Cyprus business choosing accounting software is usually offered two things: a local ledger that knows Cyprus VAT and little else, or a global ledger that knows everything except Cyprus. Either way the supplier pile still gets typed in by hand, and the VAT return is still built from whatever was typed.
Pileform sits in a different place. Keep Xero, QuickBooks, Business Central, BTMS or Esoft as the book of record. Pileform takes the documents, computes the VAT per line across the five Cyprus bands and 55 other jurisdictions, and delivers reviewed, balanced entries into that ledger, with a per-supplier Excel workbook you keep whatever happens. Each piece has its own page: invoice automation for the supplier pile, bank statement automation for the reconciliation, Cyprus VAT software for the rate per line, payroll software for the monthly run, and bookkeeping software for accountants where the books belong to twenty clients rather than one.
What it does, end to end.
Capture
Batch upload of a whole period, the Windows desktop app, the phone camera, the Android share sheet, the scanner. Any format, up to eleven languages, mixed currencies.
VAT and reconciliation
Every line gets its rate. Line sums, subtotals and totals are reconciled with deterministic arithmetic in integer cents. Reverse charge, inclusive and exclusive pricing, and cash rounding are all handled, and uncertainty is flagged, never hidden.
Review and post
A review queue per company, with roles that decide who may upload, who may approve and who may post. Confirmed entries post into the ledger without duplicates; the Excel and CSV are always available.
Payroll and compliance
Cyprus payroll at current rates, with payslips and TD7 and PAYE preparation, feeding a compliance calendar that tracks VAT, VIES, SDC and PAYE deadlines, with VAT return drafts and VIES declarations generated for a human to check and submit.
What Cyprus-built means here.
Not a translation of somebody else’s product. The home regime is Cyprus and the edge cases are the Cyprus ones.
- VAT bands
- 19% standard, 9% and 5% reduced, 3% super-reduced, 0% zero-rated, applied per line and never overriding a printed rate
- Cash rounding
- The five-cent rounding at a Cyprus till lands in an Adjustment column, so every workbook agrees with the printed total
- Greek
- Greek-language invoices and receipts read natively, line descriptions kept in Greek for the inspector, the app itself in Greek and English
- Payroll
- Income tax, Social Insurance, GESY, Social Cohesion Fund, Redundancy Fund and HRDA levy at the current year’s rates, with the caps applied correctly
- Data
- Hosted in the EU (Frankfurt); retention configurable per country, Cyprus preset six years; documents never used to train any model
Who it is for.
Accounting and bookkeeping practices
Many clients, many ledgers, one review queue each. Owners post, reviewers approve, assistants upload, and a client-side uploader sees only their own files.
Businesses keeping their own books
One company or a group, each with its own chart of accounts and its own connection to the ledger, and the source document next to every entry.
Firms on Xero or QuickBooks in Cyprus
The slot a local ledger cannot fill: keep the global ledger, get the Cyprus VAT right per line, and stop typing.
Accounting software in Cyprus, answered.
It is the processing and audit layer that feeds one. Your book of record stays Xero, QuickBooks, Business Central, BTMS or Esoft. Pileform reads the documents, decides the VAT, reconciles, and posts reviewed entries into that ledger, and hands you an Excel workbook you keep.
Cyprus is the home regime: 19%, 9%, 5%, 3% and 0% per line, reverse charge detected from the invoice wording, inclusive and exclusive pricing recognised in eleven languages, cash rounding handled. Fifty-four other jurisdictions are covered for the foreign invoices in the same pile.
Yes, for the same companies whose books it keeps: employee records, monthly runs that are approved and then locked, printable payslips with optional email delivery, and TD7 and PAYE preparation on the compliance calendar. It prepares; it does not submit to any portal or move money.
Yes. The web app, the desktop app and the mobile preview are in Greek and English, and Greek-language documents are read natively with line descriptions kept in Greek.
In the EU (Frankfurt). Retention is configurable and country-aware, with a six-year Cyprus preset, GDPR export and erasure, and a contractual ban on training any model on your documents.
