About

Built for the receipt pile.

Pileform is a Cyprus company building one tool. No funding round, no roadmap full of buzzwords, no platform ambitions. The pile goes in: receipts, invoices, bank statements. Clean, categorised, post-ready books come out. That is the entire product.

Why this exists

  • Accountants and sole traders (starting in Cyprus, now serving practices across the UK, EU and beyond) spend billable hours on manual receipt entry. The receipts arrive late and in inconsistent formats: ZIP archives, WhatsApp threads, phone screenshots. The practitioner filing the VAT (or GST) return has to convert that pile into a clean ledger before the deadline.

In: receipts, invoices and bank statements, however they arrive.

  • Existing international tools tend to mishandle the Cyprus VAT regime and other EU country-specific rates, lack support for Greek-language receipts, or charge per-seat fees for features local practices don’t require. Pileform was built to fill that gap: native Cyprus VAT and broad multi-jurisdiction support (UK VAT, EU country-detected VAT, GST regimes, zero-rated regions) in one tool.

Cyprus VAT, UK VAT, EU country-detected VAT, GST regimes and zero-rated regions.

  • The product scope is narrow: receipts, invoices, and bank statements in; per-supplier Excel workbooks plus categorised entries posted to your ledger out, with confidence flags on rows that warrant manual review. No dashboards to maintain. No recurring subscription unless you choose one.

Out: a per-supplier Excel workbook, plus categorised entries posted to your ledger, with confidence flags on the rows worth a second look.

The company

  • Pileform is operated by Encelyte Ltd, a Cyprus-registered company. Encelyte also operates a sister product, Lexitar, a hosted document-translation service for sworn translators. The two products share infrastructure (the same capture pipeline, hosted on EU infrastructure) but they serve different audiences.

Encelyte Ltd, a Cyprus-registered company in Nicosia. It also operates Lexitar.

The founder

  • Pileform is built and run by Vincent Wahidi, founder of Encelyte Ltd. The guides and posts on this site are published under his name, so a reader knows who is answerable for a stated rate, date or figure.

Positions, and what they cost

Four things we are not, and three ways we work, each written with what follows from it.

  • Not your whole accounting system.Pileform turns the pile into categorised, post-ready entries and feeds them to your ledger. It doesn’t replace Xero, QuickBooks, or your accountant’s judgement.
  • Not a Xero/QuickBooks competitor. If anything, we feed them: confirmed entries post straight into Xero, QuickBooks, Business Central, and BTMS.
  • Not VC-backed.Bootstrapped and profit-funded by choice. That shapes how we price and which features we choose not to build.
  • Not selling AI.The model is a means to an end: clean rows in a workbook. If a more accurate way to extract receipts emerges, we’ll adopt it.
  • Output is yours. You can leave any time and take your data with you. The Privacy policy describes how.
  • Support comes from the team.Email us and a person replies, typically within one business day.
  • We charge for the software, not your attention. No marketing spam, no upsells, no tracking pixels.

None of these is a feature. They are the seven decisions that explain why the product is the size it is.
